After weeks of not having my own hosting account, I finally managed to get some kind of arrangement with my brother to host my site again. To those of you who are looking for my previous tutorials, you can read it on my blog.

Most of you were following some of my forum postings, mods, contributions to vidiscript.com forum. Unfortunately, while in my school dorm, I found it difficult to access their forum. This is the reason I have to create this community.

News about vidiscript

My Internet name PoorBoy has been associated with vidiscript support system, and in their forum as well. My years in helping out the vidiscript community were good experience, and I was humbled and deeply honored by those responsibilities given to me by Ian and Joseph. About over a month ago, there was an announcement in  vidiscript community that the script has been sold to the new owner. I was indeed surprised by the sudden change of ownership of the script.

I have not received notifications, or even a simple PM message from the old owners or the new owners. For years, I have been honest, dedicated in helping out vidiscript and its members. Like any other moderators in any community, I always see greater potential of the script. Today, all of my anticipations, expectations are slowly diminishing. Perhaps, time is really changing.

Bugs in Vidiscript

There has been numerous bugs reported on vidiscript . In the earlier versions, the bugs are at the very minimum level. However, the open source released has been known to create bugs of all kinds.

Bug fixes

My brother MichaelD and myself attempted to fix most of the bugs under our own initiatives. These fixes can still be found on vidiscript.com/community forum.

Future of Vidiscript

Only the new owner can tell from this very moment.

My Plans

I am currently working on a new youtube clone script which is based on vidiscript core. The only difference is that all of the bugs are eliminated. The template system has been redesigned. More news about the progress of this project will be available soon.

Support for Vidiscript all version is Here.
